Meet Nicole—Your Celebrant with Heart

How I Discovered My Calling

My journey into celebrancy started in the most personal way imaginable. When my beloved grandma was nearing the end of her life, I spent her final days reading to her, holding her hand, and simply being present. In one of those quiet, emotional moments, my auntie looked at me and said, "You'd make an amazing celebrant."

That comment stuck with me like nothing else ever had. Since then, friends and family kept saying the same thing, and it just felt right. Like something I was meant to do. Now, I honestly can't imagine doing anything else.

The Experience That Shaped Me

Before discovering celebrancy, I spent 13 years as a child safeguarding investigator. Those years taught me how to support families through incredibly tough and emotional times. I've seen life's highs, its heartbreaks, and everything in between.

That experience gave me something invaluable—the ability to hold space for people's biggest emotions, to listen with genuine empathy, and to know instinctively how to support families when they need it most.

More Than Just a Celebrant

I'm also a proud mum to a brilliant 6-year-old boy. It's really important to me that he sees his mum doing something she loves—something that helps people. I want him to grow up kind, compassionate, and emotionally aware, and I hope my work shows him what that looks like.

I'm a practising Christian, and my faith became especially important to me through life events that changed me forever. I know how precious life's moments are. While I'm happy to include religious elements when families want them, I work with people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. What matters most is creating something that feels true to you.

What Drives Me Every Day

I currently volunteer with Saffires, a brilliant organisation in Leicestershire that supports vulnerable women. That work means the world to me and aligns perfectly with my values of inclusion, support, and celebrating every person's worth.

I'm naturally upbeat and positive, but I also know how to read a room. Whether it's a joyful celebration or a more reflective moment, I tailor every ceremony to suit the tone, the people, and the story being told.

My Promise to You

I'm here to help you celebrate life—whatever that looks like for you.

Key is communication and I will not forget about you. I make everything personal and will always attempt to provide what you want and wish for.
